Ballroom Dancing - What are the Jive and Samba?

Two of my favorites would be the Ballroom Dances Jive and Samba.

The Samba is a composition of different South American dances of slaves in Portugal in the 16th Century, purchased were practiced, such as the Cathars, Embolada and Batuque. These dances were considered vulgar by the Europeans and one of the dances that Batuque was so popular that it was banned. The Batuque was similar in a circle with dance steps that you Charleston with a solo dancer inCenter of the circle.

Finally, the Carnival has added steps and the dance has been modified to achieve the closed position, and like a real ballroom dancing, from the Europeans.

The samba seems to suggest a combination of all these dances (and probably others) and is a heavy rhythm and dance the foot and includes important steps on this page before and a lot of hip action. For this reason, it is assumed that a perfect piece to dance the samba.

SambaBallroom Dancing Judges look for accuracy and passion in the Volta (crossing in front of the body) to go to the Samba Roll (moving the upper body in a circular motion while rotating through a six-step) and Botafogo (the only way to travel, which also change.) Judges are also subject to the open arms and the distinctive climax of the Samba where the dancers throw their heads back and arms are open to the side.

The fastest of the Latin dances, it is believed to have JiveOriginally from Harlem, New York area, although some believe that comes from the south-eastern United States.

Jive is a face to the left, the rhythmic dance, which is influenced by other styles such as boogie, rock, African American Swing and the Lindyhop. Jive is also known as the Cake Walk, because the end of 1800 the blacks in the South, instead of competitions where the prize for the best Jive was a breeze.

Although the dancers seem to have to beat the legs and feetJive run everywhere, are the feet are directly under the body and more closely with the knees together. The woman is spinning a lot and it happens a lot.

Jive is usually performed to music known as ragtime. This is because the music can be, like ragtime, because the dancers are dressed in their finest clothes ( "Rags"), or because the syncopated rhythm of the music, there is a jagged appearance.

Both the Samba and Jive dancers are wonderful, are a joy to watch.
